Great support

You can expect plenty of support in every aspect of the job when you join Mitchells & Butlers. Right from day one we’ll ensure you receive all the on-job induction training and off-job courses you’ll need to be successful in your role.

To help you develop and achieve your potential we also have ongoing training and development, including courses such as our leadership programmes and volume & capacity management.

Kitchen, Bar & Restaurant staff
As a new member of kitchen, bar or restaurant staff in one of our businesses you’ll complete your Stepping Stones induction training programme within thirteen week of starting work.

Pub / Pub Restaurant Managers
As a new pub or pub restaurant Manager with Mitchells & Butlers you’ll complete two training courses – Certificate in Risk Management Competence (CRMC) & Management Induction Programme. This six-week training plan covers all relevant legal and technical aspects of the role you’ve chosen.

During your induction, you will of course, get to meet your support team, Retail Business Manager and Operations Director, who will each give you insight into life in Mitchells and Butlers and take the opportunity to welcome you on board.

Corporate Support Team
As a new member of our corporate team you’ll complete our Corporate Induction Day and a full on-job induction for your role. Your induction will include training, work shadowing and meeting all the members of the team you’ll be working with on a day to day basis.
