Harvester search for Young Guest Head Chef

Harvester is appealing for children who know their carrots from the cucumbers to design their own dish and become a head chef of the future.
The Salad and Grill is offering six children the chance to form a panel of judges and help shape the overall Harvester experience, as well as deciding which meals appear on the Young Guests menu.
To be in with a chance of becoming a 'Young Guest Head Chef', the restaurant chain is asking children under 10 to design their own dish from a list of ingredients, ranging from baked beans to broccoli and explain why it is their perfect meal.
Rachel Westwood, marketing manager for Harvester, said: "Harvester is a firm favourite amongst families and we always make children feel welcome with our Young Guest menu and fun activity sheets.
"The menu allows children to completely customise their meal, with a large choice of grills and sides and of course, the unlimited salad bar. We want to make sure that Harvester continues to reflect exactly what children want, so what better way to do this than by getting the kids involved themselves.
"We hope the appeal will promote the importance of healthy eating amongst children, and increase awareness about the benefits of getting your five-a-day."
The lucky six will get the opportunity to expand the Young Guest menu with their favourite foods, and will be able to voice their opinion on future activity sheets and Harvester initiatives.
They will also get the chance to interview members of the England hockey team at Bisham Abbey, as part of Harvester's official partnership with the England Hockey Board and Team GB.
