The Board of Mitchells & Butlers is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Jones as Finance Director of the Company.
Tim has been Group Finance Director at Interserve Plc since 2003. Prior to this, he held senior financial positions at Novar, Exel, British Gas and Hambros Bank both in the UK and overseas. In these roles Tim has been responsible for a wide range of strategic, operational and corporate finance projects. Tim is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
A joining date for Tim has not yet been finalised. Jeremy Townsend, the current Finance Director, will leave the company on 31 August.

The Company confirms that there is no further information about Tim Jones requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
