The White Horse Parsons Green

The White Horse Parsons Green

Celebrate Your Beer Drinking Independence with the White Horse on Parson's Green's sixth American Beer Festival from July 4-7.

This summer The White Horse on Parsons Green continues in its pond hopping ways by importing some of the most exciting and innovative products from America. Year on year we aim to please the masses with a carefully selected list of beers aimed at shocking the palate, pleasing the nose and tingling the taste buds.

No bland beers allowed! This weekend of micro-brewery beer should encourage more people to think outside the box with their beer choices in the future. Big beers from small breweries is not a new thing to the UK market, but with more people banging down the doors demanding interesting, rare and original products we feel obliged to show them the way. A fun packed weekend is planned and ready for all to enjoy and we invite you to join us from July 4th to celebrate America's Independence of both brewing and their freedom.

The pub will be bringing over brews from Odell, Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada, Maui, Anderson Valley, Flying Dog, Stone and others. The White Horse is hoping to repeat the success of last year's similarly themed event. Timed to celebrate Independence Day, the fest kicks off on Thursday July 4th and will carry on throughout the weekend. As Jamie Percival, assistant manager at The White Horse says: "At this time of year we are always excited to continue our quest to provide the best selection of craft beers from the United States.

"A a result we're really proud to be offering a tremendous choice of the finest American beers, which will include some very special beers from Sierra Nevada; Bloodshot, Torpedo, Southern Hemisphere Harvest, Ruthless Rye IPA and Hoptimum in cask. There will also be an array of keg beers on offer from highly-respected breweries like Stone, Odell and Flying Dog."

"And, because the White Horse is always all about demonstrating the diversity of British beers as well, we will have beer on hand pull from a whole host of English beers that boast an American influence in hop form."

Weather permitting the BBQ will be fired up and offering a whole host of American classics, as well as the ever-popular hog roast and, as you would expect from The White Horse, the beer quaffing will be accompanied by appropriate live music from The Creole Brothers.

The nearest tube to the White Horse is Parson's Green on the District Line and the 14 bus stops a few minutes walk away on the other side of Parson's Green.
