Approval for Disposal of Bass Brewers

Bass PLC (Bass) today, 3 July 2000, announces that the resolution relating to the proposed disposal of Bass Brewers, details of which were set out in the circular to Bass Shareholders dated 16 June 2000, was approved by Shareholders at today's Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company.
