Vote for your favourite Spring Real Ale with Ember

Bask in the fresh new flavours of springtime. Your local Ember Pub & Dining will have on tap a seasonal real ale selection guaranteed to put a spring into your step.

Our cask ales always go down well so the actual selection will depend on what's on tap when you visit. If you can't see the one you fancy, just ask the team when it will be on.

Best bitter:

  • Yella Belly Gold by Batemans, (3.9%)
Dry and golden, this dry Linconshire ale slips down nicely with chicken and fish.
  • Early Bird by Shepherd Neame, (4.3%)
From Britain's oldest brewery, enjoy the fresh new spring sensations of blossom, pine, honey and freshly cut grass from this golden ale.

Traditional ales:

  • Spring Magic by Andwell Brewery, (4.4%)
This exclusive brew has a refreshing citrus bitterness that's perfect for the time of year.
  • St George & the Dragon by Wadworth, (4.5%)
Feeling patriotic? Then try this fiery amber bitter with its blackcurrant, orange and digestive flavours and you'll be fighting for your next pint.

Blonde ales

  • Hoptimus Prime by Robinsons, (4.1%)
British hops and barley malt have been transformed into a rich array of fruit with a crisp finish.
  • Golden Fleece by Dent Brewery, (3.7%)
A sweet, full-flavoured ale as bright and golden as the spring sunlight on a Yorkshire lamb.

IPA:

  • Proper Job by St Austell Brewery, (4.5%)
An award-winning golden bitter brewed with pure Cornish spring water.

Speciality:

  • Cappuccino Stout by Titanic Brewery, (4.9%)
If you like your ale and your coffee strong and dark, this combines the two in smooth style.
  • Kristal White by Adnams Brewery, (4.2%)
An Austrian-style clear wheat beer with a Suffolk twist. Can you resist this non-hazy brew and its sweet aroma of cloves and bananas?
