New menus: from everyday occasions to weekend indulgence

Several Mitchells & Butlers' pub brands have launched new menus in recent weeks offering a wide range of meals suitable for every occasion at great value prices.

O'Neill's has introduced a host of new dishes including Lamb Shank and Colcannon, Blackened Salmon & Colcannon, a range of 8oz 100% Irish Steak Burgers and a wide selection of "Pickers & Sharers", perfect for those looking to share a snack with friends.  Furthermore, nearly 50 O'Neill's pubs now offer a sharing roast dinner to get stuck into on a Sunday afternoon whilst over 25 O'Neill's now open early to serve breakfast.


Sizzling Pub Co. has created a range of new additions to its sizzling skillets, including the juicy 10oz Pork Loin Steak and the delicious Sizzling Tandoori Chicken which is proving to be a firm favourite with customers.  Additional healthy options have also been introduced including the Med Veg and Mozzarella Burger Salad and Half Moon Vegetable Enchiladas.

Ember Inns' newly-launched menu features a Grill Night offer, including a drink, at only £5.99, as well as a selection of delicious pub favourites including Pork and Bulmer's Original Cider Sausages and Mash, Chicken and Stilton Bake and a hearty Cottage Pie.

Vintage Inns has launched its biggest ever menu with a host of new dishes and impressive enhancements to its current favourites.  New starters include Butterfly Skewered Prawns, Sweet Red Pepper and Goats Cheese and Homemade Potted 'Hot Smoked' Salmon.  New main meal additions include Hoi Sin Duck Salad, Braised Stuffed Pork, Kerala Lamb Curry and the return of a Vintage Classic - the Open Chicken Pie.  Tempting new pub puddings include Vanilla Pannacotta with a blueberry compote and Rhubarb and Raspberry Crumble with raspberry-vanilla ice cream and custard.

All Bar One's new winter menu includes its usual selection of quality sandwiches and salads which are perfect for lunchtime, and an increased range of ‘Big Plates' - selections offering Hand-made Fish Cakes and Gloucestershire Rib-eye Steak with Café de Paris butter.  Its Tapas offer now includes specialities such as Pan-fried Atlantic Sea Scallops, Succulent Lamb Cutlets and specially sourced Spanish Chorizo brazed in red wine.

Browns has also launched a new menu with a good balance between traditional classic dishes and healthy indulgence.  New dishes such as Pan Fried Black Pearl Scallops, Prosciutto and Chorizo and Half a Dozen Fresh Oysters have added interest to the starter section whilst new main dishes include Grilled Fillets of Mackerel, Pan-fried Escalope of Suffolk Pork, Rack of Lamb, Beef Wellington and Half a Canadian Lobster with Chargrilled Fillet Steak.
