Mitchells & Butlers' collection of Castle Pubs will team up with Thornbridge Brewery in early 2018, as they pay homage to the magic of hops and barley by launching the brand new Craft Beer Residency in pubs across the UK.

Taking place from 25th January - 17th March, visitors to any of Castle Pub's 100 strong portfolio of unique and individual pubs will be able to sample a diverse selection of over twenty keg, cask and bottled craft beers, from award winning Peak District brewer; Thornbridge Brewery.

Set to feature exclusively during the 2018 Craft Beer Residency, for a limited time only, are some of Thornbridge's new-to-keg beers. These include 'Ena'; a Nitro Milk Stout - brewed specially for international rugby's Six Nations tournament, and 'I Love You Will You Marry Me' - available on draught to all lovebirds over Valentine's weekend. Also, due to make an appearance is the exciting 'Mimosa' Vermont IPA, a beer designed and developed by castle's Brew Crew, a select group of managers from the pub chain.

Ben Lockwood, Drinks Procurement Manager for Mitchells & Butlers, said; "We're thrilled to be teaming up with the well-respected Thornbridge Brewery for our first Craft Beer Residency. The selection of beers being brought to our pubs across all formats is unrivalled at this scale, and we know our guests are going to enjoy visiting over the six weeks hunting down new and old favourites, especially the beers brewed exclusively for us."

Rob Lovatt, Head Brewer at Thornbridge Brewery, commented; "Our passion for craft beer is second to none and we are proud to be taking up this Craft Beer Residency. With our carefully selected core range and exclusive brews, we are excited for craft beer lovers to experience and celebrate our beers in some of the best pubs up and down the Country."

Pubs involved in the Craft Beer Residency include some of Castle's iconic locations, such as The Southwark Tavern, The Gipsy Moth and The Albany in London, plus other historic watering holes across Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol. Please see the website for details.

In addition to offering the ultimate selection of brews, the Craft Beer Residency will also showcase each pub's expertise beyond the bar, hosting customer events such as 'Food & Beer Pairing' with their own in-house sommelier and nine 'Meet the Brewer' sessions across the UK.
