Property and development
Mitchells and Butlers Property Department is responsible for all property related activities of our 1,700 restaurants and pubs, including; strategic asset management, brand growth strategies; expansionary investment, acquisition, property development and transaction activity, together with property advice to the Board.
It is also responsible for delivery of the Company's construction and maintenance programmes. These include; new builds, conversions, major refurbishment; building maintenance and compliance activities. Additionally, advice is provided on building policy and technical services throughout the estate.
The Property team also source additional or replacement suppliers and contractors.
We are looking to engage and develop relationships with companies who can offer a highly efficient operational service, ensuring our businesses are successfully trading every day of the year, whilst providing the optimal commercial and operational solutions on site. The acquisitions team are expanding our estate by sourcing new opportunities across our market-leading pub and restaurant brands.
We are seeking prominent, accessible opportunities with high footfall and/or high traffic flows. These can be standalone or in-line units, from 300 sqm upwards, or development sites of c.1 acre, as well as existing restaurants and pubs.
