Mitchells & Butlers plc is pleased to announce the appointment, with immediate effect, of Mr Keith Browne as a non-executive director.
Mr. Browne is a representative of Elpida Group Limited, a significant shareholder in Mitchells & Butlers. Mr Browne holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin, from which he graduated in 1990. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994 and subsequently gained an MBA from University College Dublin. After joining KPMG Corporate Finance in 1996, Mr Browne became a partner in the firm in 2001 and Head of Corporate Finance in 2009. He retired from the partnership to operate as an Independent Consultant in 2011.

The Company confirms that there is no information about Mr. Browne requiring disclosure under paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
