Brew your own ale at Ember Inns
Ember Inns is giving four of its guests the exclusive opportunity to work with one of the UK's top regional breweries to create their own tailor-made ale that will go on sale in more than 170 Ember Inns' pubs across the country, throughout July.
This unique opportunity will be the fantastic prize of a nationwide competition launched by the brand in association with Adnams in Southwold, Batemans in Lincolnshire, Ringwood Brewery in Hampshire's New Forest and Daniel Thwaites in Blackburn to celebrate Cask Ale Month (29th March - 25th April), being launched by Ember to coincide with National Cask Ale Week (29th March - 5th April).
As well as spending a day at the brewery creating a tailor-made ale, the winners will also be able to suggest a name for their tipple as well as helping to design the pump clip before all four ales go on sale in all Ember Inns' pubs in July.
All guests need to do to be in with a chance of becoming brewer for a day is to complete an entry form, which will be available in the pub from 29th March - 11th April, identifying which, from a multiple choice list, is not an ingredient used to brew real ale.
Steph Wright, brand manager for Ember Inns , adds: "As a Cask Marque accredited pub group, we are always keen to show our support for the British cask ale industry; especially the regional and micro breweries.
"We are delighted to have four fantastic UK breweries on board this year and are absolutely certain that this prize will get our guests as excited about cask ale as we are."
As well as serving a range of fantastic new ales, like Adnams Broadside, Batemans GHA, Thwaites Nutty Black and Ringwood Fortyniner, Ember Inns' pubs will be hosting lots of fun activities from 29th March - 25th April, with everything from food and ale matching nights to taste testing events. Guests will even have the chance to tuck in to one of the exclusive Ember Inns' Cask Ale Month pies, including Game and Vegetable and the classic Steak and Mushroom.
