Ember Inns launches gourmet burger range

Ember Inns is giving guests the exclusive opportunity to taste some of the finest beef in Britain with the launch of its gourmet burger range using the highest quality Mey Selections beef.

Mey Selections, which takes its name from the Castle of Mey and forms part of the North Highlands Initiative inspired by HRH The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, is working with Ember Inns to enable guests to sample a gourmet burger made of succulent Scottish beef, from many of the family owned farms and crofts in the North Highlands of Scotland.

Oliver Devine of Ember Inns comments: "Mey Selections beef offers a superior flavour, succulence and unbeatable eating experience that we believe our guests will love. And the fact that this range is available at their local pub means the gourmet burger range is something they should be able to enjoy at any time; it might be a special addition to our menu but you certainly don't need to wait for a special occasion to try it."

Danny Miller a local, North Highlands farmer and Chairman of Mey Selections explains: "The partnership with Ember Inns helps to support small artisan farmers and producers offering foods unequalled in provenance and taste.  By supplying a great quality product to their guests, Ember Inns is playing its part in ensuring that British farmers get a fair deal and that our local farming community remains sustainable."

The gourmet burger range is now available at all Ember Inns pubs.  Visit http://www.emberinns.co.uk/ for further information and to locate your local pub.
