Harvester Design a Sundae winner announced

Harvester Design a Sundae winner announced

A Malmesbury resident has scooped first prize in our Design a Sundae competition after tickling people's taste buds with her Millionaire's Sundae design, which is on Harvester's brand new winter menu.

As a result of winning the competition Emma Ockwell's Sundae is featured on our new menu, which you can now find in all of our over 200 restaurants across the UK. As well as her Millionaire's Sundae featuring on the menu, Emma will receive free meals with us for 12 months.

Emma was one of five people to make it to the final of this year's competition with her sweet sensation, Millionaire's Sundae, which comprises of; vanilla ice cream, toffee and chocolate sauce, and golden shortbread biscuits.

Emma's Sundae had to battle it out against the four other finalists from the 12th to 27th July, with our Facebook fans voting for their favourite. The Millionaire's Sundae was clearly your favourite receiving 40% of the vote - nearly double the nearest competitor.

Emma said: "I am a huge fan of Harvester desserts, so when I heard about this competition I started to experiment with different sundaes straight away!

"I am absolutely thrilled to have won this competition and would like to thank all those who voted for my sundae. I can't wait to see it on the dessert menu and hope everyone will give the Millionaire's Sundae a try."

Richard Labrosse, manager of the Harvester Swindon, said: "We'd like to say congratulations and thank you to Emma, and everybody who took the time to vote for her design, for helping the Millionaire's Sundae become this year's champion.

"It's fantastic for us to have the winner here at Swindon, and we cannot wait to try the new addition to our Supreme Sundaes list. Hopefully, the Millionaire's Sundae will be a real hit with customers when it hits our menu later this year."
