We've handpicked 18 of the best spring ales, all bursting with fresh flavours or seasonal twists on old favourites.

What's on tap?

Wake up your taste buds with a great guest beer, such as:

  • Purity's Mad Goose - a zesty pale ale, perfect with chicken dishes
  • Everards' Sunchaser - sweet and citrusy, it's even got sun in the name
  • Conwy's Beachcomber - a blonde beer with a grapefruit twist
  • Liberation's Blonde - hints of honey run through this light beer

Three spring heroes

No time to visit our Ale Library? No problem - we've found three unique real ales that are perfectly suited to supping this spring.

  1. Black Sheep's My Generation is fresh and hoppy with a crisp citrus finish; essentially spring in a pint glass.
  2. Tropical fruit flavours and malty undertones make Harviestoun's Broken Dial an instant seasonal favourite.
  3. Old Legover by Daleside is a traditional Yorkshire bitter with a nutty taste, the ideal accompaniment to a satisfying Sunday roast.

Just as the seasons change, our spring ales range won't be around forever. So drop in to your local Nicholson's for a pint of something different between 1 March and 31 May. Why not stay for some perfectly matched pub food too?
