The Commitments and O'Neill's - a truly Irish partnership

The Commitments and O'Neill's - a truly Irish partnership

O'Neill's and new hit West End show The Commitments, have teamed up on a year-long partnership to give the British public a real taste of Irish hospitality, great music and craic.

To celebrate this new partnership, which is being supported by Guinness, Magners, Smithwick's and Tullamore Dew, O'Neill's are introducing a loyalty scheme that gives customers the chance to earn tickets to an exclusive performance of the show at the Palace Theatre. This marks the first time that a West End show has offered this opportunity to theatregoers.

In order to be eligible for the free pair of tickets, O'Neill's guests must visit any O'Neill's (excluding the pubs in Scotland) five times between 7th October and 8th December 2013 and buy a main course and a drink each time. Once all five visits have been completed the verified receipts must be sent off to claim the tickets.

Not only that but every guest that sees the show can hand over their ticket post performance in any O'Neill's and score themselves a free drink.

Sarah Taylor, Marketing Manager for O'Neill's said "We're thrilled to be working with The Commitments over the next twelve months. Roddy Doyle's novel and Alan Parker's original film of The Commitments have both become part of Ireland's cultural legacy and we're proud to be associated with the latest incarnation of this brilliant story. We look forward to welcoming in many theatre goers, before or after enjoying The Commitments, with our Irish hospitality and great craic"

Carla Moran, Head of Partnerships at AKA UK said "With its collection of hit songs and inimitable Dublin humour, The Commitments is one of the most anticipated West End shows of the 2013 season. To celebrate its arrival in Theatreland, we wanted to find a brand that shared the show's integrity and love of good times. In O'Neill's, we've got the perfect fit."
