The exciting restaurant concept can trace its roots back to the much-loved Old Orleans brand which first opened its doors in 1985. It has been carefully evolved to better reflect the guest experience and dining expectations, hence the introduction of a new Orleans Smokehouse brand.

Offering an authentic Southern experience paying homage to the spirit of New Orleans, the smokehouse offers big, bold smoky flavours lovingly smoked by the restaurant’s Pitmasters and a great atmosphere for all the family.

Guests can choose from the Ultimate Orleans Breakfast, Crispy Shrimp Tacos and House Smoked Chicken Wings. Plus, guests will be spoilt for choice with the selection of satisfying dishes straight from the Smoker such as mouth-watering Ribs, Overnight Pulled Pork and 10-hour Smoked Brisket. And those with a sweet tooth can indulge in the irresistible dessert menu, while the kids will have a great time at the self-serve Frozen Custard Toppings Station.

In addition to food, the new smokehouse offers a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere that is big on families and bringing people together. The kids are taken care of too with the Orleans cinema room, outdoor family games, activity packs and Mardi Gras masks.

Commenting on the new brand, Dennis Deare, who was Operations Director for Old Orleans previously and is now leading the new Orleans Smokehouse, said: “The opening has been a great success.
