Summer rolls in by the barrelful

A photograph from Nicholson's

The weather might not have hit the dizzy heights of last year just yet, but that hasn't stopped Nicholson's rolling out their latest Summer seasonal range.

Not a single stone in the UK was left unturned as we identified another crop of 20 seasonal ales that we'll rotate through until early September.

All 20 of our ales are stars in their own right, but promising to lead the pack are Camden Inner City Green, Moor Northern Star, Nethergate Umbel Ale, and Harviestoun American IPA - brewed exclusively at the request of Nicholson's.

We've also got the latest beer from the Mike Hall series, a 3.5% blonde ale called "Wanderer". This beer recently won a gold medal in America at 4.2%, but we've lowered the abv and managed to keep all that amazing flavour. As beer and food matching experts we recommend this with our Chicken and Cider Pie, but feel free to test other great combinations.

Don't forget to download your handy cask ale booklet, where you can read about all 20 of our seasonal ales and decide which ones you're going to go hunting for. But remember, it's our very own fully trained Cask Masters who decide the order our pubs rotate the ales, so if there's one you can't wait to sample you best get your requests in soon!

Visit the Nicholson's website for more information and to locate your local pub.
