This month saw two Harvester districts take on 2 very different challenges to raise money for Make A Wish UK. Managers from the Midlands organised a car rally convoy from Birmingham to Blackpool, while managers from the East Midlands climbed Britain's highest mountain, Sca Fell Pike. Together both teams have raised a massive total of £14,500 so far...

Ember Assistant Managers have been tasked with building local charity links and they really outdid themselves over the August Bank Holiday weekend. There were family fun days a plenty at most Ember businesses with live bands, raffles and charity challenges including a charity fire engine car wash taking place at the Burnt Post in Coventry...
O'Neill's score a goal for Wessex Cancer Trust...
Ursula Haller, Manager at O'Neill's Winchester organised an O'Neill's six-a-side charity football match which saw nineteen teams take part. They were supported by former Premier League star Steve Staunton who also presented Ursula with the O'Neill's All Star Award for her charity work. £1,300 has so far been raised but donations are still being counted...

The Harvest Moon, Grimsby became the "Yee-Har"-vest Moon at the beginning of August when the pub held a Cowboy Day to raise money for nominated local charity Grimsby & Cleethorpes Lions fund. The team have helped to raise some £18,000 over the past five years.
The George & Dragon, Mountnessing helped to raise over £1300 for two local postmen who are organising an aid mission to Kosovo in October by hosting an Elvis night over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
