Mitchells & Butlers has commenced a training partnership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) to provide tailored training to the marketing department. This is a part of a brand new capability training programme specifically designed for marketing professionals. A partnership has also been commenced with the Marketing Leadership Council (MLC) allowing marketers to tap into best practice resources from a host of the world's leading companies.
Marketing Director, Simon Cope said "We have an aspiration to train and develop our people into the world class marketers with skills that compete with the best marketing departments in the world. We have tailored a mix of in house and external training courses in areas such as branding, digital marketing, CRM and segmentation. We are also really pleased to announce our partnership with the Marketing Leadership Council. This will help us to gain up to date insights into how leading companies have tackled marketing issues and help our teams to network with marketing professionals from around the globe."
In the last year M&B's 50 strong marketing department has also expanded its CRM, CEM, digital and in house research functions as well as developing an in house creative agency. Simon Cope commented "We are genuinely committed to making the marketing department at M&B one of the best in the world and the bespoke training programme that we have developed is testament to that."
