This month, more than 60 talented team members across the Nicholson’s portfolio showcased their creativity in the Nicholson’s Annual Drinks Competition, all in pursuit of crafting the ultimate Nicholson’s mixed drink.

The grand finale, hosted at the Bacardi head office, featured a rigorous selection process of the finest entries which advanced to the district heats after the judging panel faced the tough task of choosing just two standout drinks to represent each district.

Leanne Gwynn, People Partner – City division, commented: "The final showdown was incredible, with each creation pushing the boundaries of flavour and creativity."

The judges had the unenviable challenge of selecting one winning drink from the talented line-up. Competition was very tight, but the overall winner was announced as Abbey Evans at the Sugarloaf with her Garden Gimlet. Zuzanna Puk from Bacchus was awarded second place and Ellen Hughes from Woodins Shades came in third place.

Leanne Gwynn continued, "A huge well done to our winners and all our finalists and a massive thank you to everyone who entered and supported the competition – we will be back next year!"
